From the streets of Brooklyn to the Saber World Championships in Warsaw, Poland, Michael D’Asaro fought many battles to become a great saber champion. When it all went away in a dispute, D’Asaro rebuilt his life during the Summer of Love in San Francisco as first a hippy fencing instructor and then a five time National College Championship coach.
